The festive Jewish holiday of Sukkot 2011takes place from Wendsday, October 12 at sundown until the following Thursday, October 20.  During this time Jews celebrate by eating all of their meals in a Sukkah, otherwise known as a Tabernacle which is why the holiday is called Tabernacle of Feasts in English.
